Merging Source Files
The Merge
command inserts another file at the insertion point. You can also use the
command to replace selected text within the active source window with the
contents of another file.
{bmc bm4.MRB} To merge source files
1. Move the insertion point where you want to
merge text, or select the text you want to replace.
2. From the File menu, choose Merge. The Merge
dialog box appears.
3. Select the drive and directory where the
source file to be inserted is stored. The default is the current drive and
directory.
4. Select the type of file to display.
5. Type a filename or select the name from the
list of files.
6. Choose OK to merge the specified file at the
insertion point.
As an
alternative you can open a file with the editor and copy and paste text to
another file.
